    Engine overheating?

Glad you got to the bottom of it, had a feeling it would be that as you would’ve smelled and felt the heat 👍 Think a 20ohm resistor inline with supply to the gauge will reduce display by 20deg, it might not be linear but it’ll be near enough on the higher end 👍

    Engine overheating?

Extend the wires if you can and boil the water on a camping stove, a boiled kettle will cool down quicker than you think. You really want to know what the gauge is reading when the water’s boiling away at 100 👍. Knowing my gauge was reading 20deg high on our last trip made the gauge a little...

    123 distributor

As you know from over on LateBay I have the Bluetooth version, same as La bigmac. What I would say is, give 2 and 9 a try, and see what you prefer. I’m sure I’ve read on hear of folk running 9. I created many different curves, based on Bosch 034, 009, and 015 dizzy’s plots and tried them...

    Engine overheating?

If it’s a 2 wire connection then it will already be grounded 👍, so you’ll be okay

    Engine overheating?

Don’t forget to ground the sender casing to the bodywork with a wire when it’s in the pan 👍

    Engine overheating?

Have you checked what the gauge reads when the sender is sat in boiling water? I tested mine as the gauge was reading high compared to the temp reading on 123 dizzy. I found that the gauge was reading 20deg higher than it should. It’s worth checking, especially if you were able to hold the...

Group buy- Delrin bush for shift rod

Well said Mike and thanks again to you and Steve for getting a positive outcome. I doubt that it would’ve been the same if we bought direct from the manufacturer. I’m sure that the 20 in the group have the skills to fettle the bush into place and I can confirm, it’s a worthwhile effort.

    "rubber" cab steps..

No I’ve got a spray gun and compressor so bought the paint / hardener separately from Advanced Paints. I did have a can of cloud white from Paints4U, for touching up, think it was about £15, but I wasn’t impressed with it. Luckily I don’t mind flatting 🤣🍊🙈
