Are you referring to the normal factory-fitted vertical hatch or a horizontal hatch in the ceiling of the engine compartment, which forms the load deck?

The late-model, post-2005, Brazilian-built, "bay-window" VW Type 2c with water-cooled, in-line, four-cylinder engine, featured a nice large horizontal hatch in the ceiling of the engine compartment. I quite fancy one myself, for my 1973 VW "1600" Type 2 with modified 1972 VW 412LE engine.

It might be early days so far as breaking post-2005, Brazilian "bay-window" VW Type 2c vehicles are concerned!

In addition to NOSVW, you could try Steven's VW breakers and Wayne Tyas at Volksheaven, but you might wait years before one comes in.

It might be worth enquiring on The Samba about VW breaker's yards in Brazil, where these vehicles are likely to be more numerous, where the standard of driving is worse and the likelihood of finding scrapped vehicles is greater.

I am aware that some people have used the hatches originating from the VW Type 3 car, modified hatches from the 1980~92 VW Transporter T3 (aka Type 25) and possibly the VW 411 & 412 car. The challenge might be in finding hatch surrounds match the corrugations in the VW Type 2 engine-compartment ceiling cum load deck.
 
Try any Type Three or Four car breakers too. They all had inspection hatches.

Just to be absolutely clear and unambiguous, are you referring to the "T3 hatch from my parts car" as being from a VW 1500/1600 Type 3 saloon, fastback or variant (mistakenly referred to by some people as a T3 - in German it means Mk.3) or a third-generation, 1980~92 VW Transporter T3?
 
It really doesn’t matter if it’s from a Type 3 car, or from a T3 Type 25 transporter. Either will do the job subject to some fabrication work required to do the install.
 
Yes type 3 squareback, it’s probably the biggest hatch you can put in. It goes right from the gas tank hatch edge to the door latch. But mine is hinged by the rear hatch, It Just fit better that way
 
The only support rail that gets cut is the center one, it sits inside the others. I don’t have a good picture of it at the moment. I was repainting the engine bay on the weekend and felt like crap Saturday night and Sunday, so not much else got done
