    68-70 dropped spindles

Will fit any year bay but the spindles are for front drums, don't have mounting for calipers. Think you can get adapter for the fitment of calipers.

Beam adjusters are a pain in the arse

I had the same problem a few years ago. I removed hubs so just trailing arms fitted. Removed adjuster and left grub screw in with nuts fitted then heated the beam were the adjusters are and used mole grips on the grub screw nuts. Heated until adjusters moved.

    Click click but no start!

I've been having this problem over the cold months in my beetle. It's the starter "sticking". I have had to get someone to turn the key as I hit the starter with a spanner from under the car. Get the starter reconditioned, I have one waiting to be fitted so I best fit it!

    Too low....??

I would say the back is down a spline already and the front is lowered too. Raise a spline or remove the horse shoes if too low. I've horseshoes and one outer spline drop on the back and that's how mine sits. Sittin nice in the before pic, what made you want to lower it more?
