Thanks, Guys turns out it was a combination of a failed relay and a bad earth

So am I right that the switch doesn’t lock, it’s actually the relay?

Hi can anyone help, please? Sidelights and dip lights work, the main beam flashes but won't stay on. I've replaced the relay but still no joy. Any pointers?
