    1/4 Light frame Seal

Cheers Ozzie, Axminster clamps...highly recommended. You can never have enough though! I could definitely have done with a third hand although the jig did help.

    1/4 Light frame Seal

I ended up getting the original style seals as a full set of creative ones for a deluxe worked out too expensive. I made a jig to press the glass back in and although I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was an easy job but it all went back together well enough :D

    1/4 Light frame Seal

This is actually for a split but some good info here! https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=341651 I’ll definitely be making a jig to help press mine together. I ended up ordering the old fashioned (flat) style ones…I’ll let you know how that goes…

    1/4 Light frame Seal

Cheers Si, did you buy the creative seals? I’ve seen something online where someone made a jig to press the glass back in. I think they may have have used the flat strip style seal though which made fitting a lot harder.

    1/4 Light frame Seal

Has anyone taken the glass out of their 1/4 windows and replaced the rubber between the frame and glass? I need to replace some of the latches so figured it was worth doing this at the same time. Looked for the appropriate rubbers and seen them on Autocraft for £200 which seems a bit excessive...

You got to love a white Westy

Hey Mycha, Just wanted to say this build is fantastic, some lovely detail! So disapointed the photo's from the earlier posts are missing. Can I ask where you got the air tank that's slim enough to run under the floor and also have you placed your pumps under the driver and passenger seats...

    Subs

Hi, This is my first ever post on this forum, been reading and learning off of it for some time though. My view is that it's a catch 22, I agree that subs will probably put new members off of joining.A lot of clubs have ditched forums/websites for social media as it's much cheaper. The idea...
