Did you do a compression test before the strip down? Always gives a good idea of top end conditions. Seems to be running a bit rich but not burning oil, which is good. As the guys say, a de-glaze, decoke, valve & guide inspection then replace & lap them in. Jobs a good un!

I've mostly done a bank transfer direct to their account. It is a massive leap of faith as stated above, but most people are genuine & honest and if you've done your homework & it's not a 'too good to be true' deal I wouldn't worry too much. Get as much info as you can ie; address, phone...

This old girl is still for sale. Price is reduced to 3k with transmission but no motor. I have a motor to rebuild that could be included for extra?

Man, I love that patina! It's one of the best I've seen and I've seen quite a lot. Great work and can't wait to see this bus in the tin! 8)
