Thanks for all your replies. The screw had managed to work its way down the pushrod tube and into the engine sump. I had to remove the tube and use a magnet to retrieve the screw. Replaced the pushrod tube with an adjustable one and drained the oil a few times for good measure. Completed a 450...

Hi all Is it possible for an adjustment screw to disappear down the pushrod tube. My screw came out at some point. I have the locknut but no sign of the screw. I have all the pushrods out, put a magnet down the tubes but no sign of it. Is it possible for the screw to work its way down the tube...

Gents I have a slight problem!!!! Taken olive for a tune up cos she was running rubbish. Turns out that one of the tappet screws has come out inside the rocker cover. In the bottom of the cover there is a shim and the nut, looks like the screws is in one of the pushrod tubes. Questions What's...

Hi Pete I had something similar recently where I only had main beam and wouldn't flash. Turned out to be a wire that had come off in the fuse holder just behind the relay. May be worth a try, I bought a relay unesseccesarily... :? James

Olive is up and running, passed her mot but driving her is a bit painful. There is a lot of pinking, loss of power and general running problems. I have replaced my petronix with an accuspark recently and had the engine out to replace the alternator and clutch I have tried tuning her but not...

Thanks for all your replies. Looks like it was a case of me being an arse. At some point a wire had come off from behind the fuse box (far right looking from inside). Pushed the spade connection back on and "hey presto" like a new un!!! Least I now have a spare relay! :roll: :roll:

Now going to Deer shed too! Hope latitude doesn't put her off too much! :shock: :shock:

Thanks for all the replies. The plot thickens. I have replaced the relay and no matter which position I set the rocker switch inside the relay the high beam remains on. Could it be a fault elsewhere? I have had the indicator stalk off recently! Any suggestions? Thanks :(
