My feelings exactly. I don't know why but metallics look too modern. Although I have had urges several times to paint a bus like the bus in the Italian Job with lower half blue metallic, silver strip below windows and metallic red top half. 8)

Wasn't someone on here selling the roof from a sunroof deluxe recently? Have you considered welding a replacement roof in? Could be worth it if you're happy with you're van in every way except the roof?

It's not that people don't have the internet it's more down to internet-shopper fear. I work for a business that has over 100 travel shops and also have various websites selling holidays and you'd be amazed at the %age of shoppers that still prefer to buy holidays sat in front of a desk...

That gave me the image of a raging priest with a heat gun and white spirits. :) Good bit of history.
