    My 1971 Riviera Campwagen

Spent a bit of time today sorting the lighting out... AT9ZKHuVkG0 And he's had a general clean up, a new set of stainless wiper arms and blades and a bit of an assess of what's needed. After fitting up a new engine bay seal to keep things cool (in anticipation of good weather) I used...

Well, I still have it... am fettling up for the season at the moment. Actually having fun with the thing again rather than getting stressed. Bit of paint needed again, and some other bits to do. :)

    Back from the malaise...

Thanks dude, I'm hoping that getting back on the forum will help turn the spark into a flame and back into full love... :D One of my main fears is that I'd sell it, and then the getting-back-in price is nuts. I regret selling my Oval now... quite a lot. Time to get a few jobs done...

    Back from the malaise...

Hello, Haven't been in here for a while. Van has sat idle for a couple of years and there've been a few "let's just get rid" moments... but I seem to have my mojo back for it a bit and am planning some paint and mechanical refreshments, even toying with lowering (or raising) it...

Adding a bit of reinforcement on the roof where the struts bolt on proved invaluable! He's had a bit of remedial paint and fettling since last year too but the roof is holding up great! Derek @ The Trip Out 2015 by Ian Cleary, on Flickr

Westy roof bed @ brighton breeze

I added a late Westfalia-style pop-top to my bus... thread is on here somewhere from when I did that. Few days of cursing and effort and it's mega! Wouldn't be without it now! Derek @ The Trip Out 2015 by Ian Cleary, on Flickr

Well, after a lovely summer of camping in Derek we have also picked up a *cough* T5 and are using that a lot more... so once more I might be tempted if someone would like to take on Derek.... He's looking great and after a bit of recent fettling: 1) Service of engine and Propex and a check over...
