To be honest, not sure. It appears it was a panel prior to the hightop being installed. I am hoping after I post more pics I will get some answers.

Hello from Southern California, my name is Robert. Been in VW's since I was kid, but was on a hiatus raising young ones of my own. Recently refreshed a 1968 Westy for my daughters graduation and now working on a 1969 hightop I recently found. Just wanted to say hello.

Finally found one, pretty straight and I do have the interior that is weathered but great for a pattern. I will snap some more pics now that it is in my driveway.
