OK. I must have misunderstood the exchange; I thought you were telling him that you could send a courier to pick up something that you wanted, and I was asking that, if you were doing that then could he also pick up the stuff I was discussing. Now I'll go back and recheck... Jack.

Do you have an overview photo of your fuel system you could post? What's involved with running nitro?

OMG that's beautiful! I've got a '71 white westy - I love her but I've got a long way to go...

That's funny! I read the text below the photo first and thought you felt lucky because you didn't piss yourself!

If the carb is a German 34 Pict 3, it's particularly hard to find. PLEASE don't toss it if it is! I was lucky to have the German one on the van I bought. Even the restorer didn't have one, though he had all the others. He restored mine, but couldn't have gotten me one, and there were none on...

Oh, also Dark Star: if that carb is original German, it's valuable. It can be restored to be better than anything available new. Check the writing on the side, it should be obvious. Solex was the German brand, and there'd be other german words, I think.

I'd pay the expenses, of course, and don't mind if you make a bit on the exchange. I probably...

Sunnyside: did you notice the manifold parts up above the fan shroud?

You should probably just toss the headlamps, mirrors, and brake drums. Those are not in good shape and new ones are readily available.

I would really like the louver assembly attached to the bottom of the fan shroud. Mine is missing and they are impossible to find. But I'm in the US - do I read your context right, that it seems you don't want to be bothered with shipping? - Jack
