Hi All
I have a solid beam in storage thatt I bought about 15 years ago. Now that I no longer have teh bus it can be sold. I recall I bought it as part of a 'never started' disc brake update for my 1970. I recall at that time there was some differences in early-early bays with regard to bolt...
Sold mine via Car & Classic - happy with the process. You pay a fee for them to hold the funds during teh transaction but thats all cost me a bout £100 I thnk.
I don't 'do' FB so no first hand experience.. I hear you get lots of offers to swap for armchair, 05 plate Ford Focus, pile of bricks etc..

Help! whos stole my heater tube!?
The front panel is also wrong for a 72 - right?
Here's one from a bus that just sold on Car and Classic for 12k. this pic was even part of the 'gallery' !! Note also frilly inner sill
and much pigeon ****. (did they patch in a new inner sill ?) I can't weld for toffee but even I'd be ashamed of that mess.
The pictures only tell half the story of course IIRC it had soem belly pans welded on. I'll bet there's at least 10Ks worth of body/chassis work required on that
before you get to paint and mechanics and interior. and it's not even a Early!! no thanks.
Well, I take your point but in these days it woudl have least needed an MoT! I'm pretty sure there are some dangerous busses being driven around these days and they're a danger to other road users too.
Indeed I do chuckle knowing that some of the scrap back then would now sell for £1000s. The no MoT rule has propped up this market too I fear. Take this PoS for example sold this week.

If you don't mind slower drying (than cellulose)you could even try a Brewers decorator centre for a scan then get some Zinsser gloss mixed up..
