I haven't seen new drop arms, but they are reversible, marked up for both LHD and RHD, there is also a plate which goes the other side of the subframe, but may not be needed with that adaptor plate?

Get the grease out, they are designed so that any metal fillings sink to the bottom, grease keeps them in suspension where it acts like grinding paste :)
