    Which over cab hammock bed?

I had an original and the length of the bars was a pain, trying to fit it when it is raining outside, went bluebird in the end. If you have the fittings for the original then I would get one, if not then go bluebird. Matt.

    Bus security

...or at least something with dents. I installed a tracker on PAYG SIM. Park up, text it to arm it then go enjoy yourself. Anyone tries to unplug it or move your van and it texts you back with a link to google maps. One time cost and peace of mind. It is worth getting a switch for the fuel...

Split charging with early dynamo and split diode

Same here, I ran mine off the dynamo for about 6 months then went alternator (for no particular reason) without issue. The only problem I have had is I cooked the leisure battery when I left the charger attached on 'supply' mode this summer.

Seat Belts and Kids in Bay

I put one seat in the front, one in the rear on the 3-point side and the wife in the back with the lap belt :-) I did have retractable belts but have since got rid and now have the non-retracting Wolfsburg ones. I find them much easier to get seats in and out with.

    Best early bay colour?

anything that has patina but if you have to start with a fresh coat then got to say neptune blue, very cool colour and since it is the original it is a no-brainer. do it... blue!
