    The rear oil seal does not have contact with the crankshaft ,the fit is between the case and the flywheel.

    Hold on drained back to the oil filler.

    Do you have ample engine breathing,this is a common cause.

    Are you sure its from the pump linkage and not the butterfly spindle bushes,you can get brass bushes on ebay.

    The plus side of the coil is where the power comes from,for your dizzy,your choke ,your petrol solenoid
