Hi, i have a 1970 westy running a 1776cc engine, its been fine but if i leave it too long and start it Obviously takes a few gos to fire with the twin 40’s ive had the external oil filter blow the seal and piss all the oil out? Lucky it only happens on first start and not going down the motorway...

Mate, you can get so much better for the money! As said thats strong for any bay! There are some proper honest buses out there for less paper than that. Can get a decent OG paint westy for that money!

Oil is topped up mate, its odd as it wasn't like it at all last month (last use) but i did have a play with the shifter as it can be a tad stiff, have had it stuck in 2nd gear a couple of years ago but that was down to a loose bolt on the bug-tech but that is now sorted!

Hi, i have a 2110cc mounted to a 6rib type 4 box, bug tech shifter, all works amazing! Apart from its started sticking in 4th gear? Until i stop then it seems to release? Any ideas!?? Cheers jai

Hi all, I have a 2110cc with twin 40 dellotros in my bay, i believe i should be running an electronic fuel pump as i still have the standard manual one? it seems to work fine but sure one day it will give up the ghost as the engine is quote rapid! its the only stock part left on the engine...
