Removed the speedo from my Triumph Vitesse, easy task if your a double jointed midget, sent off to be repaired.

I've had a silicone pair on for years. Hylomared to the alloy (truhaft) covers, with a smear of grease on the mating surface. Job done. 👍

NGK . I'd use Permatex silver grease on the threads, the Bentley manual advises this too.

The pump needs tilting over a bit Old Bean, the optimum angle there supposed to sit at is 15 to 35 degrees,90 being vertical. Looks a nice installation 👍

Mine came with the white nylon tube, filter was a joke, got a decent one from my local spares shop. Up and running, imo, there a brilliant addition to your van .Is yours a genuine 2kw (60 mm dia outlet hose). Like many others i got a 5kw labelled as a 2kw, ( 75mm dia outlet hose).
