Hi new on here just wondering if anyone could help I fitted new engine lid handle seal as was missing 2 minute job closed the lid gently and now it will not open Reyes everything to open any suggestions 🤦🏻‍♂️
 
Hiya CHodd,
The first thing I’d try is to lean on the lid a little to try and take the pressure off of the latch mechanism as this is the most likely issue, are you sure it’s not locked? Does it have a locking latch?

Fitting the new seal has probably moved the latch slightly, so you'll need to put a lot of pressure on the bottom of the engine lid as you operate the latch to get it to release.
Once you get it open move the catch slightly towards the rear bumper.

Have tried that mate no lock just push button 🤷

thanks I’ll try it tomorrow was gonna go to rsvp bbq and camp but the battery is disconnected 😂😂🤦🏻‍♂️
