Ground the motor case and connect 12V to the 3 blacks in turn.

Motor appears to work fine after I removed it from the vehicle. (both speeds work fine). Motor also works fine when attached to spindles etc.
When I put the motor back into the vehicle and connect up to switch it still works fine. (switch is not fastening to dash at this point)
However, when i put the switch back into the dash as soon as I turn the wiper on it blow the wiper fuse?
Any ideas?

So check the wiring on the switch yeah
Yes
Make sure the switch is orientated so that the connections are facing up, otherwise they can ground onto the dash
