1971 early bay sliding door gear

the sliding door gear is not working - I think it is the pin on the U bracket which has sheared off near the door link. I have ordered a new U Bracket from Heritage parts but its for a 1975 onwards so it may not fit (although it does look the same!) Does anyone have sliding door area to sell if it doesn't?
I suspect it would be for a 1968-1975?

Has the part if the hinge the arm goes into got 2 bronze bushes in it? I have a few spares can check them if you’re not sorted

Thanks David. I believe it has. They seem intact - if we are talking about the same bit? But I have misplaced a washer which fits in on the hinge somewhere 😵‍💫It’s about the diameter of a 10p, about 2 mm thick and thin like a collar. I think it is this one (see pic) and this is also where my u bracket is sheered off
