Popped up to my local Asda today for some supplies and realised I’d run out of cash ( beer money) so I got that sorted out while I was up there. Counted it when I got home and there he is looking back at me. Got King Charles on three of my twenties. First time I’ve even looked.

My wife mentioned she had a bank note with him on recently. I rarely carry cash so am a bit unaware , ironically, given the reputation they have for having money on them.

His daughter came to my work last week though .

Every time I've seen him on the telly box he's never looked happy. I don't think he wanted the job but didn't have any choice.

I think he wanted the job, but probably earlier than now . He maybe looks unhappy cos since he’s been King he’s either been in mourning or undergoing cancer treatment tbf.
