I have the same sort of set up but installed it in the engine compartment. For the same reasons (non smoker). You can see it on the left hand side, has two crocodile clips which I connect to the leisure battery if needed. J & P :D:D:D

Pippa has a KIA Picanto for all the right reasons.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: 7 year guarantee, and they look after it etc. Gets a new one every 3 years, can't really complain. Great runabouts and cheap to run. J & P :D:D:D

Some new floats are made from a porous plastic type substance. I had one that had a minute hole in it and suffered the same problem. Good luck. J & P :D:D:D
