I agree, but one of the 14 previous owners did loads of mental stuff to it, so in a way I'm not surprised! They also painted the window rubbers black: presumably they thought that would help to prolong their life?! :roll: Thanks for the tips so far.

Hi all, this is my virgin post, would appreciate some advice please! I have attacked the silicon sealant that the PO put under the gutters to treat the rust. Should I reseal once I have finished or is that a bad idea? Many thanks Liz

Got my nearside/offside sections from Machine 7 - thoroughly nice chaps! :D I considered replacing my whole cab floor, but could only find new whole floors for LHD or late bays. Still had to fabricate some gap-filling plates, but cheaper and less faff than a whole floor from what I could see.
