Ok I have the Tow bar, ordered another number plate and found a 7-pin Hella tow socket and hopefully got a lead on a actual westy trailer So.. wiring time this seems fairly straight forward using the graph below and its basically a 7 core lead spliced into the wiring in the engine compartment...

It's surprising they cheap out on bearing given that the kits aren't cheap in the first place

Heard loads of similar stories, I was going to have one on my Engine but Laurie Pettitt advised me of the BMD horror stories and we fitted the MST version instead. Just to warn you as well I think LP may have also mentioned the BMD is no more :(

Mine had it missing when I got the van, so I replaced it.. OG bits are bloody dear now :cry: I picked up a spare recently.. maybe I'll retire on it one day :lol:
