Gabs got his new Alfonso style motor in and he resisted the urge to give it
‘A Squirt’ and he seemed to take the hills with ease. We hooked up in various places then went for a little roll and ended up in Gordano services and yacked and yacked then we yacked some more. Got some coffee and some...
Well there’s another Sunday complete with F*@k ups and everything else that Sunday can throw at you .
First off there was just one looking all Autumnal
Then there was another appeared , so that’s two
So eventually there was,,,,, guess how many boys and girls
And eventually there were four.
A few of us will be hooking up tomorrow and gonna have a bit of a run around and put some miles on Gabs new motor. Meeting up at mine elevenish in Kingswood Bristol then down to Cribbs Causeway on the M5. Then I guess we’ll make our minds up where we’re going or what we’re doing. About four or...
So the nuts and bolts of it is. Fuel line with Viton is up to and including 100% ethanol resistant and is available stainless over braided too because of the flouro ingredient in the mix. Great for modern petrol and modern diesel which is also mixed and diluted with rapeseed’s oil but costs a...
How is it that I hear Viton mentioned quite a bit lately ? Mainly to do with stuff involved with fuel. Like Viton tipped needle valves for carbs etc. Is this something that needed to be introduced since the butchering of our ordinary petrol? I hadn’t even heard of it until I had some very...
Yes bud, good move, you knows it makes sense. I’ll probs try to get down the yard in the morning, give me a shout if you’re about.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,see Nick and them boys. :)
Yup that’s exactly what I have too. But it’ll be several decades before I hit the ripe old age of seventy.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,or a year and a bit :eek::eek::eek:
Sometimes you just don’t wanna mess with it,,,, just in case. It’s taken me a very long time to get mine running nice with tiny little niggles all adding up, but now it’s great.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, Brazilian or Mecky can 1641 I’ve got :)
Ok, about time too I’m thinking. I’ve taken that old cool box of mine out and anybody needs a coolbox, come and get it and donate twenty to an animal or cancer charity. It’s good for sixty ish Stellas. So the coolbox is gone, we have an unusual compressor Dometic fridge to go in but I’m not...
Just a thought. Rather than go to all that trouble and as you said yourself, concentrate any damage to a particular point, how about making a mould and mak8ng some out of fibreglass or even expanding foam, you could make their little bottoms a quarter inch higher that the bumper lower edge. But...
Brilliant motors them Murky sprinters. They can take the start stop routine that we dish out as supermarkets delivery vans. And they do not get an easy life. I only do a few days a week now though.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,usually a good laff :)
I’m pretty sure you’ve nailed it with the two rescue companies mentioned as in they wouldn’t have too much of an idea in general but there may indeed be someone in those companies that knows T2s. I don’t know of anyone that inspects along these lines. However there may be a member or two on here...
The rest of us Brits will just have to stay here being soggy. When we get a weather forecast for no rain, we’re usually talking about possibly the next hour or two.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,We’re just entering soggy season :)
