On mine the rear latch was slow to release. I took the rear latch off,lubricated it with wd to free it up, old grease and dust. Straight forward job, once freed up the rear pops out well No more 3 goes at trying to 'quietly' shut the door at night on a campsite.

The Accuspark units are improved over their earlier models which could stay switched on if ignition was left on and the engine wasn't running. Which caused them to cook themselves. They then wouldn't fail totally, but partially once they warmed up. Pain in the Ass intermittent fault to find...

Where abouts are you?

When you get around to setting the slack with the flywheel shim washers, assemble them first without oil as it's easier to measure the movement with no lub on it. The final setting is just a distinct movement. A dial gauge is useful and a small magnet to pull shims out without removing the seal.

What type is it? Devon, Moon Raker.

Once you've got it working, be good to know what the difference is to the overall brakes.

Depends how bad they are, if it's just the gutter itself and not into the roof then Schofields do a 'J' section that fit underneath the old gutter, they also have the corners sections.

It is most probably the fuel's gone off. I had a similar issue and spent ages doing plugs timing etc. Turned out air was being sucked in to the manifold via the tube in the side below the carb, so one quick check is just to cap off that tube to see if it steadies the idle.

Will post to UK. 20Kg should be £10.
