I used the rubber portion from a Chevrolet (2008) Impala and cut it off same length as original and then used original metal bits to put it back in. Took me a minute to figure out that there is a left side and right side if I wanted them to sit flush on glass.

My US spec 1/71 Westy has that flat flare like yours. I used the 72-79 repair panels to properly fit. 71 was the transition into later arches.

A rusty crusty original is way better than an oblongotta krome piece of shite from mexico. Just reference marks on a stock steel pulley fixed about $436 worth of bs I went through.
