My bus is also on the front cover of Camper & Bus this month, it is the beige Bay window next to the red bus. Its a small picture and if you blink you will miss it, but we all got to start somewhere!!
I had hassle getting hold of this bit for my '69 bus. If you are not worried about originality then normal plastic pipe will do. I used the reinforced water/hose type and it is still holding strong six months later, just remember to keep the rubber seals that sit inside the pipe otherwise it is...
Thanks for all the tips, with a fellow vee dubber, lots of soapy water, strong string and rubber lump hammer we managed to get it to fit in about 15 minutes.
A good job done but one I don't ever want to repeat!
Thanks
Matthew
I am trying to fit the last window in my newly sprayed '69 Bay but the opening quarter light and 3/4 window don't seem to want to fit.
I have used new rubbers and all the other windows have been fine, any tips out there?

I've just bought a small Westfalia pop top & fittings to go on my '69 bay roof to get rid of a horrible '70's plastic sunroof.
It is the standing up only pop top type, anyone got any tips on fitting and where I can get new material for it?
