I just read a very similar thread on The Late Bay this morning. This was my reply. VolksWorld seem to be getting a hard time on here lately. Surely if you don't like it just don't buy it, constant slagging the magazine off will stop people giving it a try and maybe enjoying it (Like I do)...

Tempo Matador the early VW powered one preferably but I wouldn't say no to the later full screen model without the VW lump. (although I would probably put one in anyway)

I worked for someone els doing it but it was very badly payed and as I got older and had to provide for a family I had to change path. I enjoy it so Im going to start doing a bit more here and there.

There is an original Hurst one on US ebay for sale Item number: 200691869435. Is EMPI the same size thread as the stock bay shifter? if so the (original) Hurst T bar will fit because I had one on mine.
