    1967 Neptune Blue Deluxe

Buses produced from August 1967 to April 1968 didn't have an engine firewall, this was introduced from May 1968.

    1967 Neptune Blue Deluxe

Thanks, Barryfornia has been and gone. I can say it was a successful first outing. A couple of issues, the gearshift definitely needs addressing, there's a small oil leak from the temp sensor housing, there's still some leftover mousehouse even after all the cleaning, a side light isn't...

    Where does this go??????

Don't know why this didn't post earlier, but the panel van latch plate is part no. 21 and the buffer sits against this. Window van has the latch plate no. 19. Parts no 41 & 42 are the buffer and buffer cage.

First drive from lockup to Nick's at CJ Motors for a nut and bolt check and fettle. The running issues were solved by fitting the IDF40s off the old bus engine. So much easier with the hatch. Also had a sticky rocker, that was probably due to the engine sitting for such a long time before...

That looks like a Danbury interior.

    Where does this go??????

That buffer only fits buses that were originally panel vans, they had different sliding door latches than windowed buses.

I'm swapping the 44s out for my old 40s as I know they run fine. Then I can still drive the bus while I sort the carbs.

Fine on idle, but under load falls flat on it's face.

Help needed, Losing Power when over 50 mph.

Both weights should move freely, so this could contribute to the hesitation.

    Wheel refurb.

I'm sure there was a company called Powder Monkeez nr Swansea. Anyway, it's a long process. You need to take the wheel back to bare metal, treat any rust, clean them spotlessly and that includes the crevice between the hub and rim otherwise you'll get blistering. Then apply a couple of coats of...

    1967 Neptune Blue Deluxe

Thanks mate, got a couple of running issues but I think it's jetting related. Just do one job at a time, it's daunting to do a list but if you keep getting one or two things done every time it only takes around 4 years.
