I thought the electric bits could be inside the bus. Even if it just telescoped back into lower main bit it would be an improvement! I’m building a double garage at the mo so maybe I won’t need to put the cover on? The current one is a bit fecked so perhaps I’ll just replace it for now…..?

What’s the difference? Noise? Handling?

Does such a thing exist to replace this manual version? I’m constantly catching it when putting the cover on and taking it off! (The version that goes up when the stereo is turned on)

Don’t forget the seat part has to move quite a lot to become the bed

Good idea! It’s always a PITA to keep the seat open when getting stuff out from under there!

Mine was trashed and home made when I bought it so wasn’t too bothered about keeping any of it! Make it yours and enjoy it!

Rusty Lee full width in mine too - simple enough to fit myself and plenty comfy to sleep on and well made. I have to sleep on the diagonal or my feet stick off the end though! Consider a buddy seat for the other side as well - Rusty Lee do them also.

@ozziedog So a slider like this? Where did you get the mesh screen come from? Haven’t seen those for sale so far. Think I’m going for a pair of these as they are considerably cheaper than the slatted ones. How easy / difficult is it to fit opening quarter lights to fronts? Think this...

I run: Nexen 175/55/15 front 195/65/15 rear. 40psi all round. Not that costly and been good so far!

Reckon there were maybe 15 early bays in all. (I’m still recovering! Nearly there!!)

As in the main seal that goes around the whole thing? Or each individual seal on each piece of glass? Where’s a good place to buy the slatted windows from? 😁
