Thanks Mike. It is a removable top, 2 person job. The car had been in a lock up from 2000 up until 18 months ago, so a lot of re-commissioning has been done over the last 12 months. Interior hasn't all been done yet and it would have been a nightmare to drive with loose panels and trim...

I have a Mopar battery which I think is past its best, it is a 72A 670a 12v. Is that too big for a '69 running an altenator?

No, they didn't. Had to buy a new pump! Looking to buy another Pierburg and rebuild my old one with bits from both.

Any idea where to get fibre washer from that will fit pump? I have tried numerous places, car parts shops, builders merchants, plumbing centres. Nothing small enough!! You don't get one in a rebuild kit, looked at all of them. Any help would be great. Really annoying that a F..king washer...

Yeah, I know it is a long way. My cousin lives in Yorkshire, he is using mine as a pitstop overnight before we go down together the following day. He regularly uses mine for a pitstop for shows/meets in the south.
