Suspension was 'corrected' as best could be. There were a lot of issues but now it drive nicer and sits a little higher. It can be used for summer and 'cash permitting', upgrade the beam at the end of the year. MOT passed a few weeks back: 1st family camp out this weekend:

Is it impossible to source the original VW one? The one that fits on the beam? I know limebug do brackets for their aftermarket beams to install the servo could this be a view?

Had to use some of these on the front. Would love to know how not to.

I couldn't get mine on the front because of the axle greese cover. How did you get round this? Rears were ok though.

Try and get a T3 dipstick and engine bay ‘hole’ (where the T3 cap screws to). In principle, it should work. I can see it in my mind… T3’s are the best IMHO. Engineering for practicality 101

Do you use a regulator with the solar as to not over charge them?

It was on a slope. It does need coming down a tad.

Berkhamsted two weeks back was glorious.

Soooo.... VW man with the tools had to dismantle nearly all the beam. Leaves had started to separate, adjuster was completely frozen in the beam and a custom ball joint splitter was made! I went down some roads where the it would have scraped and banged but this did neither. It was lovely to...

So… van has been off the road since my suspension has been suspect but the weather was too nice so I risked a 30 minute drive and did a night in the van. The continental bed was just as good as it looks (if I do say so myself). On other news, the van is off to someone with bigger tools than me...

I’ll get pictures as soon as i can.

Mine has the coilovers but this has bent the lower control arm stud. The coilovers were lifting the bus but this means more load on that stud.
