I use my jacking points (without a second thought) every time. I also add axle stands once night enough to make it safe. No crunching detected yet.

Fuel injected heads? Interested in these. How do they operated with the carbs? Do the carbs just have their fuel ports blocked? What’s the deal?

Opening this old thread… I have built a bed but I think my choice of ply is too thin and feels unsafe (it does look rather good at the moment). What thickness ply do people use? I don’t want it too heavy but I want it secure? 12mm or 18mm? 18 is double what I have now which seems like a real...

I'm actually going to raise it a little as the roads are an abomination and my family is a lot larger and heavier. This perfect storm causes it to catch pretty badly on the ground. Also, it's pretty wallowy in dips as the suspension runs like stock so it uses all its travel pretty quickly...

I wouldn't call mine 'ratlook' but it is tatty. Pretty solid but there are dodgy patches and lots of stone chips.
