    Any Cruise or Drives planned??

I must have bought some bits unknowingly from Sparkywig as there was a mostly early bay stall. Finally got a Jalousie window and a west sink vent tube.

    Bottle Jack adapter…

I use my jacking points (without a second thought) every time. I also add axle stands once night enough to make it safe. No crunching detected yet.

Fuel injected heads? Interested in these. How do they operated with the carbs? Do the carbs just have their fuel ports blocked? What’s the deal?

Parts Wanted Continental Roof Bed wanted

Nice idea! I’m trying to build mine so it looks stock so full weighted bed is in order! 18mm just seems so heafty!

Parts Wanted Continental Roof Bed wanted

Opening this old thread… I have built a bed but I think my choice of ply is too thin and feels unsafe (it does look rather good at the moment). What thickness ply do people use? I don’t want it too heavy but I want it secure? 12mm or 18mm? 18 is double what I have now which seems like a real...

Anyone gone for the rat look?

I'm actually going to raise it a little as the roads are an abomination and my family is a lot larger and heavier. This perfect storm causes it to catch pretty badly on the ground. Also, it's pretty wallowy in dips as the suspension runs like stock so it uses all its travel pretty quickly...

Anyone gone for the rat look?

I wouldn't call mine 'ratlook' but it is tatty. Pretty solid but there are dodgy patches and lots of stone chips.

    The stuff of nightmares...

This might be off the mark and not in keeping with the forum etiquette, but this just looks so, so bad on Jastkampers for sale to the uninformed. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

    Loose fuel inlet (lucky escape)

I’m reading this in fear! New carb, new braided fuel lines with jubilee clips fitted last summer. 😧

    Water on cab floor

This is what I had to do. Mine leaked terribly, even with a new scuttle and rubber. I sealed up the wiper shaft with that very runny sealer glue that uses capillary action to get into the crack. Very wet weekend camping and not one leak! Well there is a leak from the side pop out window as it’s...

    Grating feeling from steering column

Thanks all. Is the bearing east to change or do I need to take out the whole column?

    Grating feeling from steering column

Doughnut is all good when I checked. Would gearbox oil be ok?
