    Small amount of restoration...

Sorting out a bit of wiring! Why on earth did the PO put so much in, most of these can be 6" long! Crimper to the rescue..

    Just for interest.

Since getting my bus in 2019, I've had a go at some things, basic services, new brakes, replaced bits and bobs, resprayed most of it, but wasn't sure about the wiring so got a new loom made and fitted by Iain Burns, Also had a new gearbox fitted by Graham, and some welding on the bulge done by...

    Fridges

Just bought a Quest 3-way fridge on FB Market Place for £100. Going to Cornwall in May/June and have an electric pitch. Can you sit on it? @Velgreeno this is a 39L - it's bigger than I expected!

Devon is lovely, do you know where abouts? I'm in Cheltenham, just about South West.

    Fridges

I've been through this process and ended up not buying one, LOL. I still use my large coolbox, the campsites I've been to allow you to put your ice packs in their freezer. So, although a bit more effort, not really a problem. I don't have a kitchen in my bus either, so it would just be a stand...

Rock and roll bed 1200 width

I did my interior from scratch and replaced the 3/4 width bed with a full width Rusty Lee, I also have the risers from Davidoft, which are essential unless it's for small children. Something I plan to do also is get an insert to put in the spare wheel hole, so that when we park up I can put the...

Hi from Harry the '71 Microbus Deluxe!

Hi Jamie, nice looking bus. You could always get some metal welded in? Was the sunroof a factory option?

    Your interiors.

I completely refurbed my interior beginning of 2020, there's a Rusty Lee R&R bed and a home made table with edge trim from Camper Interiors. I made the buddy seat as well with all cushions and cloth for side panels from Prestige Sewn Products. As with all these things it needs finishing, still...

    Ben's 72 Bay

Hey ben, Great work, I love the hanging table, would this hook over the roof gutter and rest against the sliding door?

Can I replace these locks without removing the window?

That's good to know, thanks. I've got a similar job looming, my quarter window has fallen off its pivot, which seems to have rusted away. Does the pivot go into the body? Sounds like it doesn't if you were able to tap it out.

    Small amount of restoration...

Bulge repair.... Recently has this repaired at CJ Motors. I expected it just to require a few small patches, but the whole lot needed doing! Great job by Nick (y)

    Are van prices falling

I think it's like most classic vehicles, which is what we have, if you bought 20 years ago and have managed to not spend loads you're quids in, but you rarely get back the restoration cost when you sell. I had a late bay in 1993, paid £1200, great condition for 14 year old vehicle, but even that...

    Heater Tube Replacement

The main tube through the chassis rails - I'm guessing only an issue if you actually have to push it all the way through for some reason.

    Heater Tube Replacement

I'm hoping to reinstall my hot air blowers, do you need to take the engine out to get the tube in, or can you do it in bits?
