I used to just fit them dry when I had a type 1 motor and they worked. I've heard stories of porous cork gasket on the market causing all kinds of problem but really they should just work! Good luck with the rest of your trip

Came up with an idea of seeing if I can fit the Waeco compressor cool box in the housing of the Westy Berlin fridge. I have an electric fridge in the van but it uses 5amp per hour whereas the Waeco uses 0.64amp (at ambient 32deg C) I dug out the non-electric spare unit I had in the shed and...

There is a 10 vehicle convoy heading up from Bristol so I assume we will all be together, although we've never been before so no idea what to expect. If there is a show field then yes we will be there too. You can't miss @ozziedog van :cool:
