Glad to hear the bus is still waiting in the wings and that you are fit and well........ Good luck with the new venture and really hope you can free up some spare time to get back on it! Your resto seems very similar to mine, years in the making and then stalled just short of the finish line...

No worries :D If you take the rear left light cluster out and look straight through you will see it. I trawled the internet to find a picture for you and hope this shows it better, circled. Hope the owner of this van doesn't mind me re-using their image

Hi, always drawn to threads about 72's as I have one too. Just read your posts from start to finish and very impressed by the amount of work you've put into your bus, great stuff! Just wondered if you ever got to the bottom of the fuel smell you mentioned near the beginning? You said it was...

    My 72 Danbury

Hi, I got the rear corners from Just Kampers. They were new full height genuine corners that I cut down to use just the bits that I needed. Not the cheapest way of doing it but all the pattern lower sections that I saw were really poor quality and fit. Even these aren't exactly the correct...

    My 72 Danbury

What with the weather and work, added to a lack of funds, progress has been a bit slow..... however I did manage to get the bus out of the garage the other weekend..... if only to look at my face in the paint :D The sliding door wasn't shutting properly so had a play with the catches and...

Ant, looking very very good indeed... Great progress! How you getting on with your front door gear... I ask as you've got me worried because I also bought new/replacement doors and am yet to transfer the locks and handles etc from my original doors.... and based on your comments suspect that...

    My 72 Danbury

Thanks Robb. Front beam has been cut-and-turned, and the rear has 3" stepped Red 9 spring plates plus a few tweaks to the inner and outer splines to drop it a bit more. It normally sits a fair bit lower than in the above pictures as currently it's an empty shell with no interior, engine...
