    My 72 Danbury

Thanks Dexter :) Well I've started the nearside rear corner, the Previous Owner/Repairers repairs looked ok originaly but as expected, and after lots of digging through filler, I didn't find anything that was worth leaving so chopped it all back out to the original metal to start it again...

    Definitive Fire Prevention?

I'll second this as these often get forgotten.... in fact most people don't even know they are there.... and on all 3 bays I've owned in the past these were cracked, split, leaking or even missing! I first discovered this potential safety issue the very first time I brimmed the tank...

    '69 Resto

Some great work going on here..... and coming together fast too! Especially related to your experience with the N/S B-Post bowing out of shape when you repaired the inner and outer parts..... mine did exactly the same when I repaired that part.... had me scratching my head for a while as to why...

Rear arch repair panels - which are best?

Need a left hand side rear arch repair panel for my 72. I've seen Schofield's and Just Kampers panels at a recent show and to be honest both of them looked pretty poor with large ripples off each top corner of the flared arch????? Almost as if they just were'nt pressed properly? I mean.... how...

    My 72 Danbury

Thanks! I can't wait to finish it either..... I've been doing this so long now that I've forgotten what it's like to drive my bus???.... plus there's only so many shows/nights I can stand in a tent.... and I think I've reached that limit! Cheers

    My 72 Danbury

Work has been a nightmare recently, so what should have taken 2 weekends max took nearly a month? Finally manage to get a day in yesterday and have now completed the repair to the off-side rear quarter window frame. I decided to stay true to the moto of, "If in doubt, cut it out"...... so that...

Had a Mk1 Chrome Burner when I was a teenager but always wanted a Super Tuff with those way cool Skyway Tuff II Mag wheels..... So when I saw this up for sale recently.... I couldn't help myself! It's gonna need a little bit of work but then..... I do love a project!

    Another 72

You're not alone with that concern..... I've got a 72 crossover too and mine has the 3" lowered Red 9 Design spring plates on the rear.... which once I'd fitted I decided it wasn't low enough and wished I'd gone for the 4" ones.... however instead of sending them back I played around (for hours...

    T2D

Always see loads of versions where people have added loads of accessories and pop tops etc beyond what you can select on the selecta...... do you all add these with photoshop and the like or am I missing something?

    My 72 Danbury

So, drilled off the corroded 'V' channel for the side track cover and then sandblasted the corrosion along the lower window channel of the rear quarter. Found it to be fairly pitted with just a few pin-holes..... so my dilema now is, do I cut a section out and replace it completely (as I do...

My 1970 Westy project 3 1/2 years later

Hi there... very nice indeed! Great colour and you don't often see white band tyres with empi 5's... which I think looks great! :D How much work did it need and did you do it all yourself?

    My 72 Danbury

Well, the battery tray is in: As is the corner: It will need a very light skim of filler but just stuck some primer on it for now: So nice to finally have this side all back together...... for the first time I feel like I'm getting somewhere :) : Just need to seam seal the corner...
