Glad to see that you are saving OLD POE! Although the front clip is now missing it is amazing how by just removing the mangled metal it actually looks a lot less sad totally salvageable..... there is plenty fight left in the old Bus yet! I guess you could call this the Bionic Bus..... you can...

Thanks for the previous comments guys :D Been cleaning and painting the rear underside for the past couple weeks, however today I ran out of paint so decided to take a deeper look into the following discovery I made a few weeks back... so to recap: Well, I followed the repair joins and dug...

Here 'was' mine before I ripped it all out for the resto. Nowhere close to the standard of Easy and Stuartrx7 but was neat and tidy enough?:

Well that is pretty much exactly what I did :wink: The right hand side needed the same repair too: You'll notice I had the idea to add an extra bit of supporting angle iron on this side as I thought some extra support/strength wouldn't do no harm - so I went back and added this...

Now that sounds oh so familiar!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Good work fella.... keep it up!

Hi Haveacamper - It's definitely meant to be fixed to the bump stop arm - mine both are/were. In the one pictured I had already cut off the part attached to the arm and ground the top of the arm back ready for attachment of a new bracket.... once I've repaired the chassis rail and made one that...

Update time again..... Filled in that hole I cut out in the rear bulk head around the nearside heater inlet: Then proceeded with the same repair to the offside: Primed: Next I started the nasty job of scrapping off all the under-seal from the rear chassis and area below the fuel tank...
