What did you do with your early bay today

Cleaned my engine bay up with cheap baby wipes and elbow grease: then fitted my new build 1776cc with twin 34ICT's and Vintage Speed: hopefully get it running tomorrow

    BUSFEST 2015

Two daft questions: I couldn't find an option for child tickets, they're free entry, so will they get wrist bands on the day? Cant remember how it worked last year. and the big one I have only just got my engine back from the rebuild, and still waiting on my gearbox. What happens if my bus...

Europe here I come!!!! Anyone drove in France/Switzerland?

Its a left hooker so need to worry about road position it will come naturally. We did Euro Disney in ours a few years back, stayed at a lovely campsite near there called LES ETANGS FLEURIS - Touquin, middle of nowhere but great site and lovely countryside. 2nd week we drove across to the...

I should have one for sale soon as i'm switching to twin 34 ICT's. Bought it a couple of years back to replace my 31PICT and had it rebuilt/cleaned up by my local Air Cooled garage. Would be looking to get back what I paid for it £75 Will also have the manifold for a twin port, and original...

Keeping the inside of the bus cool in hot weather

Is it a tin top? Old Land Rovers used to have a second roof about an inch or two above the genuine roof held up on spacers. This was used in hot countries as the false roof absorbs all the heat and doesn't pass it on to the interior of the car.

    Pembrokeshire v. Cornwall

We did Gower/Mumbles a few year back, would recommend it to anyone. Just as nice as cornwall for the views/people etc. But as always a lot of a holiday in the UK is what you make of it yourself.

1970 EB DC - The Dirty Diesel

I like it, mind you have a soft spot for single/double cabs. I'd leave I as is body wise, but swap the mechanics as suggested. Watching a single can on the Samba, got no money to buy it but keep looking just in case it becomes free to a good home :lol...

Thule or Westfalia towbar mounted bike Rack?

Its the older version but I had one of these on my car: http://www.pendle-bike.co.uk/shopping/ws-rack.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the arms/wheel slots are held on by an bolt and the main spine connects to the ball with a big pin. The connector has to stay on the ball but...

    Best Carb /pump for a 1641 rebuild

I found this on another forum, if wiring like this does it still need to have the solenoid? Never heard of an inertia switch but had a quick swizz on ebay. I'm assuming they have some kind of mechanism inside like an airbag trigger that breaks a contact when it senses an impact and stops the...
