    Brake lines routing

Some pics of the front on mine from a couple of years ago. Didn't get any of the rear. The Goodridge flexi pipes have a shallower fitting than the O.G ones. When making the front ones through the chassis, have the flexi's in place to check length before swaging/bending. Hope this helps.

Parts Wanted Dual port manifold 1600

Sorry its been a while. Finally got up in the loft. I've resprayed again where it had a few scratches. Note the bracket that bolts to the engine in the centre has been removed. Possibly to aid removal of the manifold? There are pitted bits on the preheat pipe bends, but the rust is gone...

Parts Wanted Bumpers for a 72

I'm pretty sure the chassis mounting holes are the same, The '72 only bumper irons are longer as they bolt through the bumper and not to a plate inside. They will be a different angled bend for height and to clear the valance too. Agree with Ozziedog, if the bumper or iron got damaged and there...

Parts Wanted Bumpers for a 72

My two penneth... Some folks call 'em leaf trays as they tend to gather leaves in autumn. I cant use them as one rear corner was replaced and doesn't have the hole and raised bit. Early front bumpers are all the same from what i've seen. Barring holes for overriders, fogs, number plates...

Parts Wanted Dual port manifold 1600

I've got one I bare metalled and stove painted silver/grey for my bus, went for twin carbs in the end. Preheat pipes are both good. Used red boots and stainless clamps, inlet ends too. It's in my loft, I'll try to get you a pic later dude.

Snail and a snap-on tach/advance timing gun, 34's too and nice big K&N's. No doubt a rolling road tune up and rejet could get a bit more out of it but they want min £500 to do it near me + jets, wether used or not. It has a lot of garish looking scoobies and evo's outside usually, they still do...

I have an OBDII reader for modern motors, £30+ i think, can't remember where from. It's OK, can reset some faults but not service schedule nag on my A3. There are loads about. If you want something more specific, get mftr software like VAGCOM on a laptop and a harness to connect up. For the bus...
