Replaced ugly tires with a set of good used ones , now is sits straight and tires hold air. We replaced a few bits and did some cleaning. This is what it looks like now. Trying to get it ready for a show coming up in 3 weeks.

Why Tijuana Westfalia ? I found it in Tijuana , Mexico last week. Living in the southernmost city in San Diego "Imperial Beach" I'm only 5 minutes away from Tijuana. I got a lead about this guy who had some baywindow doors and other parts that he wanted to unload , we got a hold of the brother...

Replaced all tires and wheels with new Hankook RA08 on powder coated wheels and beauty rings. This tire was still holding air :shock: Also removed the front tire carrier , I'm saving it but I think it looks better now.

Found a matching rear bumper. Installed the awning that came with the bus , it's all complete but I'm glad I had the owner's manual to see how it works. I need to do some work on the retracting mechanism , hopefully just cleaning.

This are made of Zinc Aluminum Alloy. Year of make or Westfalia $45 dlls pair plus shipping from California.

This are sold as a kit for $175 dlls (crank and pulley cover) or individually. Billey alternator pulley covers are only $45 dlls This are also made out of 6061 Aluminum and anonized for a long lasting finish. The crank pulleys are machined but start their life as a Scat blank pulley so you know...

Replaced right rear window and rail cover seal but first a good clean up was necessary. Glad to see solid metal. Engine is being worked on. Engine may not be ready but the bus is :D
