According to the options list (yellow list on previous post) , the original owner got the "Battery Service Panel" for only $15 :roll: Here is a picture I took from above , top looks solid. Boiled Linseed oil is now being applied on the burned areas.

Thanks man. Installed some stainless steel mesh grills and put some parts back into the bus. It's a rainy day so can't do much today.

Polished the bus this weekend , still some work to be done but the original paint came back looking good.

Wow !!! nice. Of course I have never done this before , but this means I should polish most of the bus to bring back the original color and only apply this to protect the faded areas right ?

Original manuals and receipts from Klein-Foreman Motors VW in Van Nuys , California. Included is the pink slip and old registrations , it looks like I am the 3rd owner.

It is always bumper to bumper in LA , on my way up to pick up this bus it took me almost 2 hours just to get by the downtown area , horrible.
