    Security Tracking apps

    From what I gather, you need to report the theft to the police, get a crime number, ring Skytag or Tracker who then switch on the tracking device. Tracker/ Skytag ring the police and tell them the location of the stolen vehicle. This takes a few hours I guess from the moment it was stolen. And...

    Security Tracking apps

    He finds the fuse box which leads to the tracker and destroys it! Having them hidden is the key assuming he doesn't block the signal. At least those long life battery trackers allow you to hide it anywhere.

    Security Tracking apps

    If you read that link you'll see why the Skytag isn't that good a system. It is not an approved system so the police will not track the signal. You also have to report it stolen yourself so what are you paying for? They monitor nothing for that subscription. You would be better off with a £35...

    Security Tracking apps

    That's why the only option is the very expensive VHF tracker and the huge annual fees. Basically you pay them £500+ to do nothing. When YOU report it stolen, they switch it on...what a scam! 5 year battery on this one. http://www.trackerdirect.co.uk/tracker-retrieve"...

    Security Tracking apps

    The disadvantage to those cheap tracking devices is that they are full of wires. All a thief needs to do is follow the wire from an earth or battery and disable it. Found this one which has a magnet and a three month battery, like they one they use to track Gus in Breaking Bad...

    Security Tracking apps

    I'm looking at security options and read an interesting post on the late bay forum. I don't think a lot of them are worth the hundreds of pounds in annual fees since they make some dodgy claims and they will only work if professionally installed...

    Which fuel hose do you use?

    I had read that there were lots of fake hoses on the market, so didn't take any chances and got the bio-fuel safe hose. http://www.vwaircooledworks.co.uk/Fuel-Hose-Kit---Full-details.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

    Inner Louvre Window Seals

    Wee White Westy

    So after TMI messing up the size of the seat upholstery, we got onto them and said that we were not going to wait another 6-7 weeks for the correct sized standard seat cover. So we waited for the rush order to finish this interior. Well another 6-7 weeks later (cheers TMI :evil: ) they send the...

    Westy table fitting

    As far as I know, there isn't a repro version, you would need to try and pick one up from a spare parts supplier, that's how I got mine. Essential parts like this can get sold or stripped by certain folk. Campmobile70 on here might be able to help...
