Hi peeps, just need a bit of info........ i've just fitted a westfalia interior into my bus. On the underside of the fold down table is a fitting that i presume secures it when in its folded position. I'm looking for the female part that it would i presume click into when folded to stop it...

Lovely job mate, my '68 came with GTI Recaros which were awful to sit in. I sourced originals and did pretty much the same as yourself, no regrets from me, improved the ride no end :)

Hi peeps, just a quick enquiry........ jumped in the bus this morning and realised that after braking the brake pedal wasnt returning to base position. I've had a quick look underneath and there doesn't seem to be any leaks on the master cylinder and the return spring seems intact...... Any...

June '68 onwards had firewalls as standard, mine is a March '68 and the firewall screwed straight onto the frame, holes were even there already.

Totally inspirational work there, great attention to detail. :)

The Ebay one is for a late bay fella. I had the same problem with my 68, i eventually got hold of one from Dubfreeze auto jumble last year. They arn't necessary but i'm happier with mine, also makes the engine a tad quieter too. Keep your eyes open for one with the same angle cut on both top...

Good tip thanks but i'm thinking of making the interior and need to source the trim. I've been looking for ages for a period interior for my '68 but all you see is either over priced ones or affordable scrap! :shock: :( :(
