Has anyone got the dimensions of a wheel adapter? Looking to get some narrow 5 to wide 5 adapters made as the cost of buying some is stupid in my eyes and i (hopefully) know someone who knows someone who knows someone but need the exact dimensions. Obviously narrow 5 are 112 and wide 5 are 205...

Have you removed the cover off the indicator at the front and checked there, the little holders are prone to rusting away. You've swapped the wires and still cant get the left to work so its not a wiring issue (as both wires work the right)

Buy an engine case and have it checked over by a machine shop to see if it needs an line bore, buy the best items you can afford and take your time. Invest in a Bentley Manual and a decent set of tools including a torque wrench. These engines aren't rocket science

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but sounds like its an engine out and strip down job. You might be lucky in that once you drop the heads off and remove the B&P's that the engine rotates, could just be as simple (?) as a seized piston if not and it does turn out to be a spun bearing / dowel...

You know the answer to that 1! I bought a replacement rocker cover, new gasket and new spring clip from C&C, no more leaking rocker covers for me just a shame the rest of the engine is dead (well not dead but on its last legs)

A DVDA dizzy requires setting at 5 deg AFTER TDC and not at 7.5 deg BTDC like an SVDA.
