Having nipped up the wheel nuts, put the circlip on the end of the speedo cable I too out again this morning. Still getting the noise from the rear - I think its the brake shoes so I will back them off a bit more. Going to jack it up first to see spin the wheels to be sure. Getting the gears...

09.02.2022 An hour on the bus just doing little bits :) Fitted the drivers seat belt - need to do the passenger one but can’t locate the L shape bracket :( Also fitted a glove box liner then dug out the old kick panels just to see how they look - need a wash but another step in the right...

If the fuel system is neglected and the fuel pipes are suspect then this can contribute to causing a fire. Also, a lot of people put the fuel filter in the engine compartment which can lead to issues if this fails etc. Otherwise should be good.

Yes, you can brand new (JK do them) - think they are £100 plus each. I have seen rusted damaged ones for £20 plus but they are just trash. Mine are in bad condition and I may be able to repair them but wanted to see what is out there first!

Long shot but after a pair of bumper steps as mine are pretty bad Not after mint so what you got?

05-02-2022 More steps forward and back :) Got the rear bumper back on - will look to put the splash/leaf guards on later. Got it out of the drive on the road (that is why it has moved to a higher position on the drive) and took it round the block. Steering, brakes, gears, lights...

Love the colour and the work done on the van. When do you think you will be ready for the fitting of the BMW bits? I take it the drive shafts will need changing to work with the gearbox (I know its not a gearbox as such but can't remember the name for it ;) ) to get power to the wheels? Looking...

Not sure if I am the only one but I joined EarlyBay from the get-go (minus a few days) but my joined date now shows 2019. What gives? Anyone else got the wrong joined date or is it just me?
