    They appear on ebay very occasionally - I got a NOS pair from there. I'd try BusOK or Kieft and Klok as they seem to have most things.

    Sliding door front inner lock mechanism

    I gave up on trying to repair mine. LHD mechanisms are more common than RHD ones so it can be difficult to get hold of the latter. I think VWEd once said that there were 12 different ones in all, covering LHD, RHD, Early, Late & panel.

    Glad you found one. No problem about looking - I need to sort out all the bits I've collected anyway and it looks like they're a fairly regular request on here. I'd appreciate it if you could PM me with the price you paid so that if I do sell one I'm in the ballpark and not ripping someone...

    Just back and had a brainwave where it might be. Found it but it's in the housing. Is it easy to take out? Will do some pics later as pretty hectic here.

    I've got a NOS ATE one: 211 736 113 and a new Varga :https://www.gsfcarparts.com/652vg0130, the latter being 71-9 with servo according to GSF Although the ATE one has that number printed on the box it doesn't seem to be a standard VW number - maybe it's a ATE one?
