If it ran better in summer as well as the timing, I would look at things like the pre-heat tube on the manifold is not blocked too.

I got mine from here https://www.advancedfluidsolutions.co.uk, you need bio ethanol fuel line its relatively expensive to the other stuff but I have had mine with no problems. But before most runs I always give it a once over for hardening and cracks. Give them a call they are very helpful.

You have live and switch live, so when you ignition is switched on it sends various switch live to lights etc. So I would take a switch live with a low amp fuse direct from the fusebox. You can test the switch lives with a multimeter or similar. Or if you don't want to grovel around behind the...
