TBH I cant comment on Autocrafts towbar ....... BUT I know mine don't alter the postion of the rear bumper at all, Mine also use all the stock location points and are Exact 100% copies of the Westfalia originals , BUT they are NOT stressed /abused/ damaged like the westfalia originals as...

They weren't fitted till the middle if 71, And usually they're not needed. There were fitted to compensate on the buses brakes when carrying large/ Heavy loads etc . Just because Volkswagen fitted/made it, It wasn't always a leap forward...... I hope this helps Gadget ;)

Wanted a complete Stock 68 front beam incl drop arms and spindles , I don't need the front brakes , But the beam MUST be complete Spindle to spindle ..... Also wanted Non servo brake master cylinder Pushrod ...... Let me know, Id prefer no Rust and Non Lowered as well Thanks in Advance...
